beijing's watercube

we were given a seatwork in our subject-facilities design and our topic was to know everything about beijing's watercube. the seatwork was done and all but still we havn't presented it yet. before researching, all i know bout this cube is that it's where the water events are held in the olympics. but i found out that this cube has so much to offer!

it's facility design is so amazing, it's design was inspired by soap bubbles, a design that is so complicated and took time to build. its engineers and designers unbelievably accomplished and finished the design just right on time. and thier choice of materials was way outside the thinking box! imagine building a large structure from complicated steel connections and covering it with plastic! wow! hail those engineers and designers!hahahhah,..

plus the watercube is udestructible by fire and can even survive an earthquake!what a structure,..

anyways, here's a video of that amazing structure! congratz china, you proved the world that with unity, anything is possible!
